Re: Overwhelming Evidence

We, the core group would like to inform our batchmates of pertinent facts surrounding the issue on the payment of cancellation fees for the "Rage Band."

o Here are facts that are supported by overwhelming evidence:

‧ Maria Luisa Bunag, CEO/President of the Rage Band and the owner of the name "Rage Band" duly registered at the Department of Trade and Industry categorically states in her signed letter addressed to the core group that there was never a contract, implied or otherwise, between our batch-88 and the Range Band. In her letter she said, "If this was indeed Rage Band's official business, there would be an existing contract with my name and signature and that of the parties involved using Bunjeworld Entertainment, Inc. letterhead."

‧ Ms. Bunag further says that the Rage Band does not have an official title of musical director. The claim of Amar Puyat that Tonet Lipana is the musical director of Rage Band is a misrepresentation.

‧ In the core group meeting last October 16, when the idea of the band was being proposed, the husband of Amar Puyat, Michael Puyat, the supposed lead singer of this band was present. His overbearing demeanor, made it difficult for the core group to objectively evaluate the proposal. Micheal Puyat was imposing his opinion on how the reunion event was to be conducted. Furthermore in the same meeting we were wondering why the professional fees of the band were raised from 25,000 to 33,000 pesos. During this meeting there was no mention of any "cancellation fees" for the band.

‧ In view of these facts, the core group felt it best to invite Amar Puyat to a separate emergency meeting, without her husband, on October 20 to discuss the proposal of the Band. We were surprised Amar Puyat for whatever reason did not attend the meeting and did not want to discuss the issue formally with the core group on any other future date. Instead she insisted that everything should be accepted as it is.

‧ The idea of having a cancellation fee was never brought up until after October 20. The core group requested from Amar Puyat that we talk directly to this band so we can iron things out. Again she did not reply to this request.

‧ The core group from the start wanted to resolve this issue professionally with all affected parties. However, Amar Puyat seems to have other intentions in mind.

‧ From these facts it is clear that there is no final agreement within the core group to use a band. The use of the band remained on the proposal stage and was never finalized. The signed letter of Ms. Bunag further supports our claim.

‧ Hence, the core group as the representative of the batch, retains its position that we should NOT pay any "cancellation fees" to this band, whoever they are because there was never a formal agreement in the first place.

‧ The money is not the issue but the principle behind it. The misrepresentation of Amar Puyat has been unprofessional and unfair to our batch. We cannot condone these acts by paying a single centavo to these misleading pronouncements.

‧ Another unprofessional demeanor of Amar Puyat is instructing some of our batchmates to deposit their donations to the personal bank account of her husband Michael Puyat. We have enough evidence to prove this.

‧ We, the core group gave specific instructions that all donations and money be deposited to our one and only official batch bank account under the names of Theresa Silerio and Godofredo Aquino. Our objective was to maintain full accountability of all the funds that were collected.

‧ Some of the money collected for our batch that were deposited to Michael Puyat's personal bank account are still with Amar Puyat and was never turned over to the official Batch Bank Account.

‧ Finally, Amar Puyat has committed acts of grave misconduct after willfully and in bad faith barred the core group from using our batch yahoo egroup and blocked our communications even on simple announcements about the time and venue of our reunion. Her actions unfairly prevented the core group to explain to our batchmates facts surrounding this dubious and baseless idea of "cancellation fees" to an unauthorized "Rage Band."

‧ We caution our batchmates who are not well informed about these facts and might be misled by Amar Puyat's misrepresentations. It was the intention of the core group to keep all of you well informed but unfortunately Amar Puyat deviously barred the core group so she can censor and monopolize what can be posted in our yahoo egroup.

We would like to assure our batchmates that as your core group, we have been working hard to protect the interest of our batch.

WE REQUEST ALL OUR BATCMATES TO REGISTER TO OUR NEW EGROUP THAT WILL BE ANNOUNCED DURING THE NIGHT OF OUR REUNION.

Thank you for your support.
